I already opened a bug report upstream: https://github.com/xournalpp/xournalpp/issues/7509

I think this could be fixed downstream too. Or at least have a postinstall message that explains that you have to mount linprocfs for now as a workaround.

If you change the working directory to /usr/local/share/xournalpp and run xournalpp it works.

(cd /usr/local/share/xournalpp && xournalpp)
