Hi Robert, thanks for sharing this. I am starting to investigate opencloud myself and came across a GH discussion [1] that led me to this PR.

I note that there's no maintainer info in this diff. Do you intend to maintain this going forward? Or is this PR starting the work, and offering it up for someone else to maintain?

This is "starting the work". I could provide patches for future updates, but I'm not willing to become a regular maintainer.

I maintain a few ports, and might be willing to keep this maintained.

I have not been able to get it to build, though that might be because I didn’t have the patch for 14.4 that is included here.

I have not tried opencloud, but if I make the switch over from Nextcloud I’d definitely be interested in maintaining it.

Any tips on testing this port? How can I pull this and make install?

I got the patch. Building now. I will test and report back on if I will be able to maintain it.

Unfortunately I am having too many errors building on FreeBSD 14. Perhaps when the pkg is created I will try again.
