The following error is given when the port install fails:

install: /usr/etc/rc.d/sm-client.sh.sample: No such file or directory
*** Error code 71

How-To-Repeat: Install the port

This happes if you have no mailer.conf 
A fix has beenn committed, please test and send followup.
