Trying to install FreeBSD-4.5-RELEASE off of a CD, going thru standard setup in sysinstall, i got past partitioning, 'selecting canned distro', get to 'choose the installation media' and the #1 choice is CD-ROM - 'install from a FreeBSD CD-ROM', which i choose. At this point the sysinstall comes up with an error about the device not existing? The CD-ROM is a standard ATAPI cdrom, which has worked with linux redhat, etc previously. Is this a bug in systinstall? Cheers, Cam

sysinstall has been replaced by bsdinstall in FreeBSD 9.x. Closing.
