Last time I checked, the maintainer/author didn't respond. Also, I mirrored the distfiles so they wouldn't disappear from the 'net. IIRC, I had to dig them up off some obscure FTP mirrors. If the ports have security problems or are generally not useful anymore then disabling or deleting them would be fine, otherwise I continue to recommend setting the maintainer to ports@FreeBSD.org. (However, I can take maintainership if that would be better.) -- Jason Harris | NIC: JH329, PGP: This _is_ PGP-signed, isn't it? jharris@widomaker.com | web: http://jharris.cjb.net/
Adding to audit trail, from misfiled PR ports/55847: Date: Thu, 21 Aug 2003 14:29:59 -0400 (EDT) From: Justin Robinson <jmrobins@samurai.ruin.org> Message-Id: <20030821142943.O45710@samurai.ruin.org> References: <3F44FE50.30600@fillmore-labs.com> They can be deleted. They are certainly outdated and replaced by better programs. - Justin "There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't"
