X.org - X-Server build on CVS-snapshot (1st May 2004): "cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.freedesktop.org:/cvs/xorg co -P -rHEAD xc" - distfile: http://www.hta-bi.bfh.ch/~meyea1/xorg-devel/Xorg-X670R1src-1.tgz - portfile: http://www.hta-bi.bfh.ch/~meyea1/xorg-devel/Xorg-X670R1port.tar.gz - more files: http://www.hta-bi.bfh.ch/~meyea1/xorg-devel/ How-To-Repeat: - Please change the distfile-location to www.freebsd.com ! => www.hta-bi.bfh.ch has only a 6 Mbps-connection. - I don't maintain this port! => I worked over 26 hours for this port, that's enough!
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->x11 Sounds like a challenge for x11 team. (too bad guys ;-))
I don't feel this port should be added. If we're going to integrate the x.org server into the tree, it should be in a similar format as XFree86-4-Server, so that people can swap (or hopefully, install side-by-side) easily, and there can be a single set of dependencies. I'm working on that now. -- Eric Anholt eta@lclark.edu http://people.freebsd.org/~anholt/ anholt@FreeBSD.org
State Changed From-To: open->closed A different X.Org server port was committed.
