Description Ion-Mihai " IOnut " Tetcu 2004-06-26 04:40:15 UTC

Dspam is a very dynamic project. This port is aimed to follow the dspam snapshots.

This port wouldn't be without the help, suggestions, feedback and patches from:
Rob Evers <rob@debank.tv> (maintainer of mail/dspam)
"Julien Gabel" <jpeg@thilelli.net>
Matt Juszczak <matt@atopia.net>
Andreas Klemm <andreas@freebsd.org>
"DEBO Jurgen E. G." <jurgen@shop.fr>
Gary Kline <kline@thought.org>
Daniel Stefan Haischt <me@daniel.stefan.haischt.name>

and probably others, which I have forgotten and I apologise for that;
many of their suggestions and requests not yet in this port, but I hope
they will be soon.

Fix:

Submit the port optained from:
http://www.people.tecnik93.com/~itetcu/dspam-devel/dspam-devel-3.0.0.20040624.0425.tar.bz2
MD5 (dspam-devel-3.0.0.20040624.0425.tar.bz2) = f2e7ec9d90c23b69dcd30a1eb5bae24b

I forgot to add Matthew West <mwest@uct.ac.za> to the credits lists.

I've dropped the 'www' from the url, to make ti shorter, so it's now:
http://people.tecnik93.com/~itetcu/dspam-devel/dspam-devel-3.0.0.20040624.0425.tar.bz2

The same change should be make in the DISTFILE section of the make-file.

Can the PR 68358 be closed ?

When trying to get a repo copy done I noticed,
that the dspam port has been updated to 3.0.0.

Although I personally would have prefered a dspam
and a dspam-devel port it seems that we have to
accept that the port update has been done ;-)

Since very important fixes have been done in CVS
version of dspam 3.0 the only thing I'd personally
wish as dspam user is, that the port allows an
option, to get the latest version out of CVS
automatically. Or that somebody releases patches
that can be applied to the port.

I personally had no luck to compile dspam from CVS
since FreeBSDs way of handling different versions
of autotools seems incompatible with dspams way
(autogen.sh) even if you fill in the correct names
for the autotool binaries with version number.

Does somebody have an idea to
a) make patches available like in the mutt world or
b) make compiling of latest dspam CVS version possible
within the port ?
