Messages sent to the lists in 'quoted-printable' format look corrupt when viwed via the web archive. Eg. trailing spaces show as =20 and =3D is printed for the equals sign. There are many examples of this throughout the archive. The other (mailman) archive doesn't show this behaviour. Fix: Convert messages archived in quoted-printable format into something more suitable for browsers, before display. How-To-Repeat: See eg. http://docs.FreeBSD.org/cgi/mid.cgi?20040726134930.GA79357
State Changed From-To: open->suspended I will suspend this record because it does not seem worth the effort to fix this. We (Keramida and I) think that it is more work to fix it, causing a heavier load on the freebsd servers then it will actually solve.
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-www->remko Make me responsible for this since i last touched it.
Responsible Changed From-To: remko->freebsd-www Throw this back into the www pool in case someone has a bright idea for this. I do not know a proper way on fixing this which is worth the effort, so I might not be the right person for this PR.
batch change: For bugs that match the following - Status Is In progress AND - Untouched since 2018-01-01. AND - Affects Base System OR Documentation DO: Reset to open status. Note: I did a quick pass but if you are getting this email it might be worthwhile to double check to see if this bug ought to be closed.
bapt changed the mailing list archives, so this is OBE.
