State Changed From-To: open->closed #1 - if gettext were truly broken, there would be literally thousands of complaints and PRs -- the lack of them would tend to indicate a local problem #2 - woefully inadequate error log output. A single line from portupgrade does not constitute an error report #3 - this is a ports issue, not amd64 - please feel free to resubmit a more detailed problem report, including full logs etc. after you have ensured that everything on your system is appropriately up to date.
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-amd64->ade gettext maintainer hat.
