Description Mike Durian 2006-02-09 21:20:04 UTC
A recent update of print/acroread7 (or perhaps the linux port)
seems to have broken my ability to print. I usr lprng to
	print - specifically, /usr/local/bin/lpr. When I specify
that path as the print command, acroread7 complains that it
	cannot locate it.

How-To-Repeat: Stick an lpr in /usr/local/bin and use /usr/local/bin/lpr
	as the printer command.

This is not a bug with acroread, it's the way the linuxolator works after
changing the default linux_base to also install $LINUXBASE/usr/local.

Don't close for now, since this breaks POLA.

Use the full name of the mailinglist, so that we don't get 2 nag mails
with open PR's every now and then.

The upcomming update of the default linux base port will fix this problem.
Since I will be the committer which commits this, I take this PR to have a
better overwiev of related PR's.

The new default linux port fixes this problem. See /usr/ports/UPDATING.
