Description Taka 2024-01-02 19:53:27 UTC
I see the following error every time I shutdown system.

Waiting for PIDS: 1827Dec 31 12:07:23 X1Nano pulseaudio[1975]: [(null)] core-util.c: Failed to create secure directory (/var/run/user/1001/pulse): No such file or directory.

This may be related to MATE which I use. I use the default sound system OSS.

I notice that the error happens only when I use mate.
If I shutdown after I close mate, the error does not appear.
It seems that mate assumes users use pulseaudio.
But, it is not true on FreeBSD.
So, the bug is in mate ports, I think.
