This happens on FreeBSD 10/1386 and FreeBSD 11/i386, in Poudriere 32-bit build jails, and on the 32-bit servers themselves. Hello, Unfortunately I dont have any running i386 system neither I can run poudriere due to hardware issues I am experiencing at the moment. Mind having a look at milter-greylist/work/milter-greylist-4.6.1/config.log contents?
Hi, it's available at http://pastebin.com/Vw9sCA6n
I *am* slightly mesmerized by: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsasl2 I'm not quite sure why it's being called.
If you need a FreeBSD 11/i386 machine to test patches, I can set up a VM for you and give you SSH access.
(In reply to freebsd from comment #4) Hello i386vm will not help much since I need poudriere. Thanks for offer. But there is also good news: I expect replacement hardware to arrive next week. Thanks for logs. It appears to be configure script bug. As a temporary workaround I suggest you install cyrus-sasl port.
I just successfully build the port under 103i386 jail. Do you have custom make.conf or something?

Building with cyrus-sasl2 installed works now.
Now I see. You have sendmail built with sasl support. Thats why it doesnt work. So you either remove sasl related stuff from make.conf (and rebuild world) or install syrus-sasl port. This is not a bug.
Ok, thank you for looking into it. I realize now that I am also using this make.conf for servers that do not actually need/have Sendmail/SASL, so on those installations the call to SASL libs fails. Makes sense. Sorry for the noise!
Configuration error on Reporters side.
