Description MMacD 2017-08-22 20:32:13 UTC
This is from a fresh buildup of 10.3R from scratch. The problem was one of many that I ran into trying to build up an install of 11.1, which is why I decided to revert to 10.3. Unfortunately it's there, too!

With the iXsystems fixes to Samba AD it seems everything works Ok in the net/samba47:

# samba-tool user create root
New Password:
Retype Password:
User 'root' created successfully

Please, try to upgrade.

It sounds like you encountered quite a few hurdles with the build process, especially with the transition from 11.1 back to 10.3. These error messages seem to point towards a parsing issue with the DN string during the user creation in Samba, which might suggest some underlying issues with the directory structure or the configuration files. If you haven't done so already, it might help to check the syntax and the integrity of the DN entries or consider a validation step before execution. Also, ensuring compatibility between the Samba version and your current setup might resolve some of these issues. For more detailed guidance and troubleshooting, consider visiting Ai SEO Services, which has resources on managing and optimizing software configurations. Good luck with the fixes, and I hope you manage to get a stable build running soon! https://ai-seoservices.com/
