Please try to disable USB in BIOS. If that will drive you to a successful boot, please post us a verbose boot dmesg and `pciconf -lv' output. If you still experience problems, please try playing with ACPI settings and check your vendor for an updated BIOS version. After disabling USB controller in BIOS, I was able to install FreeBSD. Once installed, I was not able to enable the network interface (Realtek RTL8168/8111). I saved the dmesg and pciconf information to text files, and then used Ubuntu live CD to mount the partition on which FreeBSD is installed to retrieve the text files. dmesg output: Copyright (c) 1992-2008 The FreeBSD Project.
