Description Tony Narlock 2015-07-24 18:10:33 UTC
For the past release or two, Chromium has not been installing extensions.

I am running chromium-43.0.2357.134.

Is anyone else succesfully downloading / installing extensions?

NPAPI plugins are no longer supported by Chrome/Chromium.
Comment 2 Tony Narlock 2015-08-03 23:44:22 UTC
Interesting, but for a brief time, when I was on 44.0.2403.107, extensions worked. As well as file dialogs (https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=201865).

After upgrading to 44.0.2403.125, I am not able to install extensions again.
Comment 3 Hayjumper 2015-08-05 12:55:59 UTC
Extensions != plugins. Extensions don't use the NPAPI (or PPAPI) and should continue to work. This is probably related to general file download problems in current versions of Chromium under FreeBSD.
