More details: # uname -a FreeBSD fido 11.1-RELEASE-p1 FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p1 #0: Wed Aug 9 11:55:48 UTC 2017 root@amd64-builder.daemonology.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64 Error: # htop htop 2.0.2 aborting. Unfortunately, you seem to be using an unsupported platform! Please contact your platform package maintainer! [1] 82007 abort (core dumped) htop Maintainer feedback, please! Hmm...I can not re-produce. I've run htop over 80mins, but it did not crash. Could you rebuild htop and try again? I have been monitoring htop for the past several days, and I must say it does not dump core at the moment. Could it have been an issue on some other part of the servers environment? We do have htop running on all of our servers (about a dozen at the moment), as tmux session. I will continue monitoring htop and report back in case I see issues. In that case, I will make sure to attach the core dumped, for possible analysis. Thanks for checking this. Created attachment 189829 [details]
htop core dum, tar compressed
I spoke too soon. An instance of htop, started about 20 hours ago, just crashed with same error message:
htop 2.0.2 aborting.
Unfortunately, you seem to be using an unsupported platform!
Please contact your platform package maintainer!

(In reply to w.schwarzenfeld from comment #7) I have been using latest htop on several servers (in tmux) without core dumping. This ticket could be closed, as far as I am concerned. Thank you for taking the time to look at it. |
