Hi Julian, Looking at the code, specifically install.c, the Linux question does indeed get asked at the same time as all the other questions (is this an NFS client, do you want ACPI disabled indefinitely, etc). This doesn't seem to have been changed any time recently either. Is this a problem with 6.x or a 7.0 snap? Ceri Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-bugs->kensmith I'll take this one... Responsible Changed From-To: kensmith->brucec Grab. The question does get asked at the same time as other post-install questions, but the problem is that installing Linux support takes a long time and so should be asked before the base system is extracted. State Changed From-To: open->suspended The question about installing Linux was removed in 8.0 so is unlikely to be fixed in older releases. Responsible Changed From-To: brucec->freebsd-sysinstall Back to the pool. sysinstall has been replaced by bsdinstall in FreeBSD 9.x. Closing. sysinstall has been replaced by bsdinstall in FreeBSD 9.x. Closing. |
