Description Jeff 2006-02-25 12:30:05 UTC
I recently purchased an HP Pavillion d4100e with Athlon 3800+.

Installer starts to boot with either i386 or amd64 versions, but panics
on load of ohci module. I do have a wireless usb keyboard, but no other
usb devices are attached. I was able to install using "safe mode" but was
later unable to boot into it in a normal fashion.

And yes, I used the USB keyboard option (7) AND the default option (1) on
the installer. I get panic at the same point on both.

Just an update...

6.1 RELEASE does not fix the problem.
