Description Eugene Minkovskii 2006-11-14 18:40:02 UTC
I use laptop HP Comapaq nc6320

1) sleep S4 and S3 crash the system: FreeBSD go to sleep, but don't wake up!

2) Permanent I got following message (very frequently, one per minute)
acpi_tz0: _CRT value is absurd, ignored (256.0C)

3) When I use two battery at the same time and boot FreeBSD without power,
primary battery produce wrong Remaining time (about 23 hour), but secondary
get a right value:

% acpiconf -i0 | grep "^Remaining time:"
Remaining time: 23:00
% acpiconf -i1 | grep "^Remaining time:"
Remaining time: 4:30

..but if I boot system whith power plugged in and after the booting detach power, all be Ok:

% acpiconf -i0 | grep "^Remaining time:"
Remaining time: 2:17
% acpiconf -i1 | grep "^Remaining time:"
Remaining time: 4:30

How-To-Repeat: Just install FreeBSD 6.2 BETA2 or FreeBSD CURRENT on HP Compaq nc6320 :)

I use laptop HP Compaq 530 and run 8.2-RELEASE and have the first
two problems. I don't know whether the third problem exists, not using
two batteries.
