Description Chris Calvey 2007-11-10 10:40:00 UTC
After upgrading and following all vendor supplied instructions, I am unable to print using my HP LaserJet 1022 printer. The printer was working fine using the previous version of HPLIP. The printer is USB and is connected as a UGEN device.

Printer has been switched on and off, and all daemons restarted in the correct order.

The output from hp-setup follows:

Please re-read pkg-message. You haven't supplied all the debugging
info that I have specified there.

Thanks,

Is this still a problem?

put in devfs.rules:
add path 'usb*' group cups
add path 'usb*' mode 0660
add path 'ugen*' group cups
add path 'ugen*' mode 0660
