Today, I just finished did the clean installation of desktop (included
linux-opera) and I can't reproduce it. Do you have Linux emulation enable?

Cheers,
Mezz

I would have thought so..,

I've rechecked the manual again, and am trying to see if specifically
including "options COMPAT_LINUX" into the kernel helps..,

buildkernel running at the moment.

Thanks.

You can load linux module (kldload linux) instead for more quicker. I ha=
ve  =

linux_enable=3D"YES" in my /etc/rc.conf.

That's the test kindly suggested by another responder that's pointed me to
linux emulation issues. I *do* have this set in /etc/rc.conf, that's why I'm
trying to see if setting the option in the kernel might produce other
results..,

Thanks.
