Description JOAO HENRIQUE BERGAMASCO 2008-09-07 20:40:01 UTC
I have a following configuration:

  ifconfig ed0 192.168.1.1/24
  ifconfig ed0 192.168.10.1/24 alias

After 5 minutes, the first IP (192.168.1.1) become unreachable if I do a
ping to it. I could see that route to 192.168.1.0/24 was deleted. But,
192.168.10.0/24 is working well.

Can anybody help me ?

Best regards,

João Henrique Bergamasco

Fix:

No fix until now.
How-To-Repeat: Intall the FreeBSD 7-RELEASE
Configure the interface:
  ifconfig ed0 192.168.1.1/24
  ifconfig ed0 192.168.10.1/24 alias
Ping the first IP:
  ping 192.168.1.1
Wait for six minutes and you will see the problem.
After five minutes, the problem will solve and it will appear five minutes
after.
