Description Jared Barneck 2010-11-10 08:40:08 UTC
I can put a Lenovo T61p to sleep but any attempt to wake up fails. The screen remains black.

I cannot ssh in or get any response.

I have to hard power off.

How-To-Repeat: I have FreeBSD 8.1 installed on an Lenovo T61p laptop, running Xorg and KDE 4.5.

Responsible Changed
From-To: freebsd-amd64->freebsd-acpi

Likely an ACPI issue.

This _should_ have been fixed by now. Can you please try again?

We can close the bug if it works.

Thanks,
Hiren

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me.

With loaded nvidia.ko it didn't even wake up.
My investigation continued from single mode without nvidia.ko.

I tried with and without hw.acpi.reset_video=1,
system always wakes up, but screen remains black.

My system is stable, build 249161.
