Description Lyubomir Grigorov 2011-07-11 07:20:08 UTC
Can someone update the OpenVAS collection, it is 2 versions behind as of now and has no maintainer. These are the present ports that need to be removed/updated, since the newest version works a little different:

security/openvas-client-2.0.4_2
security/openvas-libnasl-2.0.1_4
security/openvas-libraries-2.0.3_1
security/openvas-plugins-1.0.7_3
security/openvas-server-2.0.2_2

They need to be updated to the following, and need to be installed in the following order:

Libraries 4.0.5 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/872/openvas-libraries-4.0.5.tar.gz
Scanner 3.2.4 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/873/openvas-scanner-3.2.4.tar.gz
Manager 2.0.4 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/871/openvas-manager-2.0.4.tar.gz
Administrator 1.1.1 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/853/openvas-administrator-1.1.1.tar.gz

(optional, not vital)GSA 2.0.1 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/857/greenbone-security-assistant-2.0.1.tar.gz
(optional, not vital)GSD 1.1.1 / 1.2.0 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/860/gsd-1.1.1.tar.gz
(optional, not vital)CLI 1.1.2 - http://wald.intevation.org/frs/download.php/851/openvas-cli-1.1.2.tar.gz

Cheers.

These ports are unmaintained, so, if you were looking for an opportunity
to help contribute to FreeBSD, you've just found one :-)
