With my HE tunnel, I can access most of the FreeBSD sites via IPv6, but the forums are consistently unreachabe. A trace from my system: cracked# traceroute6 forums.freebsd.org traceroute6 to forums.freebsd.org (2001:4f8:3:36::209) from 2001:470:c:684::2, 64 hops max, 12 byte packets 1 shurd-2.tunnel.tserv15.lax1.ipv6.he.net 28.590 ms 28.953 ms 27.433 ms 2 gige-g4-6.core1.lax1.he.net 23.138 ms 32.763 ms 25.517 ms 3 10gigabitethernet7-4.core1.fmt2.he.net 41.018 ms 30.125 ms 29.504 ms 4 10gigabitethernet1-2.core1.pao1.he.net 33.423 ms 33.521 ms 41.329 ms 5 isc.gige-g4-17.core1.pao1.he.net 31.630 ms 33.519 ms 33.474 ms 6 int-0-1-0-0.r1.sql1.isc.org 35.377 ms 33.510 ms 33.414 ms 7 * int-0-1-0-0.r1.sql1.isc.org 1767.319 ms !A 9043.703 ms !A Fix: Simplest solution would likely to be removing the AAAA record... fixing the root problem also an option. :-) How-To-Repeat: Get an HE tunnel, try to use forums.freebsd.org
State Changed From-To: open->closed I refered to the forum-admins which might resolve this. In addition on the forums there is mentioning that IPv6 might have issues.
