Read Chapter 10 of the on-line version of The FreeBSD Handbook, found the following typos. URLs are references to the WWW pages on which the errors were found. ------------- URL: http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/quotas.html "Even though that man page says that you can specify an alternate location for the quota files, this is not recommended since all of the various quota utilities do not seem to handle this properly." It would be more grammatically correct to phrase the second half of this as "this is not recommended because the various quota utilities do not all seem to handle this properly." Strictly interpreted, "all of the ... utilities do not" means "_none_ of the utilities do". ------------- URL http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/x8613.html Section 10.2. Setting Quota Limits "The following is an example of what you might see when you run then edquota command." The word "then" should be "the". ------------- Same URL URL http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/x8613.html Same Section In the text, shouldn't the following example of changing a line in a config file be formatted so that each line of text is in fact a single line? /usr: blocks in use: 65, limits (soft = 50, hard = 75) to: /usr: blocks in use: 65, limits (soft = 500, hard = 600) ----------- That's all for Chapter 10. Fix: Apply suggested changes if deemed appropriate. How-To-Repeat: View referenced URLs.
