Description Mark Linimon freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2013-02-13 20:00:01 UTC
There is no verbose description of freebsd-jail on the following page:

http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-jail

Fix:

Someone(TM) needs to write a more verbose description for it. It then
needs to be copied into the Handbook.

For bugs matching the following criteria:

Status: In Progress Changed: (is less than) 2014-06-01

Reset to default assignee and clear in-progress tags.

Mail being skipped

Product should be changed to services since it related to the mailman list configuration ? I am unable to change this myself.

https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-jail

From the very first message on the list:
https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-jail/2007-May/000000.html

"The purpose of this list is two fold ... to discuss the use of jails, but, more
importantly, to discuss the various patches and extensions that appear to be
floating out there to extend the jail(s), and try and work at getting them
properly committed instead of "lost in time" ..."

The mailman config can be updated to
"The purpose of the freebsd-jail mailing list to discuss the use of jails, and also the development related to it"
