Description Mark Johnston freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2013-07-01 05:10:00 UTC
I created a audio/linux-f10-flac port to provide libFLAC and libFLAC++
for use with linux programs that require it. I've been using it to play
Dwarf Fortress on FreeBSD-CURRENT with working sound.

The flac RPM contains a flac executable, but that isn't installed at the
moment as I don't expect that it'd be of any use. The Makefile is based
of off the linux-f10-libogg makefile and it thus sets MAINTAINER to emulation@. I'm happy to maintain the package myself if needed.

Fix: Patch attached with submission follows:

Hi, if you are still interested in having this port in FreeBSD, it may (or may not) need to be reworked to support stage, and it may need updating to other newer conventions such as "USES" which is expanding all time.
For staging, see http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-ports-announce/2014-May/000080.html

Additionally, you need to provide some sort of quality assurance.
In order of preference, we are looking for:

1) "poudriere testport" or "poudriere bulk -t" logs
2) Redports or tinderbox logs

Please provide an updated shar file and attach a test log. Alternatively, please indicate if you are no longer interested in having this software in the Ports Collection and that we can close the PR.

Thanks!

This PR should be closed as I don't have much time to work on it. I'll resubmit with the appropriate modifications when I can. What's the correct PR status to use in this case?

You should be able to "reopen" the PR, so when you are ready to do so, add your new attachments first, then change the status to "open".

Thanks!
