Enlightenment stops to respond when working with some process and dies on signal 11 when process is killed. My machine has Nvidia card with up-to-date drivers. The whole problem only happens with mail/thunderbird when windows/notifications pops up or gets closed. The screen stops. If I kill thunderbird enlightenment drops core. bt full shows: #0 0x00000008038780b6 in ecore_timer_del () from /usr/local/lib/libecore.so.8 [New Thread 809c07400 (LWP 100698/enlightenment)] (gdb) bt full #0 0x00000008038780b6 in ecore_timer_del () from /usr/local/lib/libecore.so.8 No symbol table info available. #1 0x00000000004966e0 in e_focus_event_mouse_in () No symbol table info available. #2 0x0000000000456874 in e_border_focus_track_thaw () No symbol table info available. #3 0x0000000803878ab4 in _ecore_timer_expired_call () from /usr/local/lib/libecore.so.8 No symbol table info available. #4 0x00000008038757d3 in _ecore_main_loop_iterate_internal () from /usr/local/lib/libecore.so.8 No symbol table info available. #5 0x0000000803875b47 in ecore_main_loop_begin () from /usr/local/lib/libecore.so.8 No symbol table info available. #6 0x0000000000439ee8 in main () No symbol table info available. Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->gblach Over to maintainer (via the GNATS Auto Assign Tool)
You should report this bug to enlightenment team. I'm porting E17 to FreeBSD, not fixing a bugs.
Is this PR still relevant?
Yep, nothing changed yet.
Did you report that upstream?
Can't really say. AFAIR I hit their phabricator but hadn't create a new bug, just added some comments to some other one probably.
Ok. However, this PR seems to be something you should report upstream. I am closing it, as it is not a problem with the port itself.
