Description basarevych 2014-03-10 05:10:00 UTC
It's been a week now since the KDE meta-package has diappeared from the repo.

Please fix it, or is there other way to install KDE with binary packages?

How-To-Repeat: # pkg install kde
Updating repository catalogue
pkg: No packages matching 'kde' available in the repositories

Unfortunately there are some KDE ports for which there are no binary
packages in FreeBSD 10 at the moment, which in turns prevents the
metaport from being there.

The problem is that x11/kde4-workspace depends on WITH_NEW_XORG=1 to
build, and that is not the default in the build cluster yet for 10. Once
that changes, the packages will start being made.

Most of the KDE ports do have binary packages though, so you'll only
need to build a few yourself.

WITH_NEW_XORG is default since 2014-10-03.
