The sections of the FreeBSD handbook "3.3. Release ISOs" --> "3.3.4. Multi-volume support" at http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/articles/releng/release-build.html use the deprecated `sysinstall' utility. Examples using the `bsdinstall' utility could perhaps augment this favorably.
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-bugs->freebsd-doc applies to the handbook.
This is the releng documentation, not the handbook. (No less important to be correct, though.)
Note that this is obsolete documentation -- the comment on the first page states: This document is outdated and does not accurately describe the current release procedures of the FreeBSD Release Engineering team. It is retained for historical purposes. The current procedures used by the FreeBSD Release Engineering team are available in the FreeBSD Release Engineering article. These obsolete docs should probably just be retired.

Sorry about not fixing this earlier. The referenced section 3.3.4. does not exist anymore and that might have been the reason why it was marked as obsolete. I've replaced all mentions of sysinstall with bsdinstall in the releng article. Thank you for filing the PR, which is now closed.
