Description Sergey Kuzmichov 2014-10-22 05:18:24 UTC
Any sounds (from audio player, video player or sound notification of pidgin) I hear start with 2 seconds: first seconds of sound is lost.

If I run "cat /dev/zero > /dev/dsp" in background, then sounds plays fine.

root@Desktop-PC:/sbin # cat /dev/sndstat
Installed devices:
pcm0: <NVIDIA GT440 (HDMI/DP 8ch)> (play)
pcm1: <NVIDIA GT440 (HDMI/DP 8ch)> (play)
pcm2: <NVIDIA GT440 (HDMI/DP 8ch)> (play)
pcm3: <NVIDIA GT440 (HDMI/DP 8ch)> (play) default
pcm4: <Realtek ALC892 (Rear Analog 7.1/2.0)> (play/rec)
pcm5: <Realtek ALC892 (Front Analog)> (play/rec)
pcm6: <Realtek ALC892 (Onboard Digital)> (play)

This bug is affected on only digital audio outputs, like a HDMI or SPDIF. In my configuration if I use pcm4 or pcm5 as a default's audio device, sounds plays fine. But on pcm6 (SPDIF) or pcm3 (HDMI) the first seconds of any sounds is dissapears.
