I guess you try to compile Kodi without xrandr option.

XOutput is defined in xbmc/windowing/X11/XRandR.h
But the class is used outside an #ifdef XRANDR.

So the option is brokken and it's even in upstream.

i'll report this.

Can you confirm it works with xrandr option ?
Or provide config.log file.

I can confirm the expected result. Build with XRANDR, does not build without XRANDR.
Mickael, what about making XRANDR mandatory for now instead of an OPTION?

A new upstream version of kodi will be integrated soon (see bug 199351) which addresses the xrandr problem in the process.
