Hello,

Right now ctld doesn't allow to set syslog facility name to filter out logs, so every output finally going to /var/log/messages. It's inconvenient to track any ctld-related errors on busy systems. Would you please add this feature someday. Thanks.

Alternatively, it may worth to add direct logging support with some reasonable default location like /var/log/ctld.log. Any method is acceptable.

I was able to sort that out by updating syslog.conf like that:

!-ctld
*.err;kern.warning;auth.notice;mail.crit /dev/console

!ctld
*.* /var/log/ctld.log

So I believe this may be marked solved. It wasn't assigned to anybody anyway.
