While updating the port print/muttprint (see: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=207299 ) this will now generate the enduser documentation from SGML files to PDF, PS, RTF, HTML; during this process a lot of errors are generated, all from the same file belonging to this port here: docbook2ps -d ../stylesheet.dsl manual-en-sed.sgml Using catalogs: /usr/local/share/sgml/catalog Using stylesheet: /usr/ports/print/muttprint/work/muttprint-0.73/doc/manual/en/../stylesheet.dsl Working on: /usr/ports/print/muttprint/work/muttprint-0.73/doc/manual/en/manual-en-sed.sgml jade:/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl/modular/print/../common/../common/dbl1mn.ent:8:28:E: "1058" is not a character number in the document character set jade:/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl/modular/print/../common/../common/dbl1mn.ent:9:28:E: "1090" is not a character number in the document character set jade:/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl/modular/print/../common/../common/dbl1mn.ent:10:28:E: "1061" is not a character number in the document character set jade:/usr/local/share/sgml/docbook/dsssl/modular/print/../common/../common/dbl1mn.ent:11:28:E: "1061" is not a character number in the document character set ... they are all about problems in the same file 'dbl1mn.ent' installed by the port dsssl-docbook-modular-1.79_1,1; I will attach the two files as reference or for testing;
Created attachment 167359 [details] test file (1/2)
Created attachment 167360 [details] test file (2/2)
Over to maintainer.
Created attachment 167430 [details] simplified test case A simplified test case is attached and just to be executed as: $ docbook2pdf test.sgml
I opened a thread in: https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook/201602/msg00021.html
I have adde <gabor@FreeBSD.org>, the maintainer of textproc/docbook-utils, to the Cc: list (and I even suggest assign the issue to him/her) because while making this port textproc/docbook-utils, it spills out the same errors when the port wants to make the SGML written documentation; the current assigned port textproc/dsssl-docbook-modular only delivers files from world to our system;
Reassign to textproc/docbook-utils maintainer.
