Hi, the system is 10.3-RELEASE-p11. I had installed virtualbox-ose and virtualbox-ose-kmod version 4.3.38 and FreeBSD was running stable. After upgrade virtualbox-ose and virtualbox-ose-kmod to version 5.1.6 everything seems to work the sam, but I get random reboots now, after about an hour, or after 30 mins, or after 2 hours. Regards, vermaden
Please upgrade to 5.1.8. I had serious issues with 5.1.6 that vanished after I upgraded.

Virtualbox is at 5.1.12, just upgraded. Same random fuckups occur, random instant reboot every now and then. Regards, vermaden
Same behavior with latest 5.1.14_2 ...
I have observed that if You start rsync over ssh to transfer large amount of small files then instant reboot is possible to repeat within about an hour with two VirtualBox machines both running Windows 7 in my case. So the bug can be about generated interrupts. The rsync/ssh process is on the host, not on the VirtualBox guest machines. Hope that helps.
We have version 5.2.4. Does this problem still exist?
I do not use VirtualBox that much anymore, when I got these random reboots I have had VirtualBox machines running all the time, now I start VirtualBox from time to time, but I havent got any random reboot recently, so I think this may have been fixed. I think this one can be closed. Regards, vermaden
