Description lothar.linhard 2017-08-08 10:59:32 UTC
For example in: https://www.freebsd.org/releases/11.1R/installation.html
The file header says:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

But the contents says:
1.\xc2\xa0Installing FreeBSD

This is obviously UTF-8 encoding C2 A0 (refering to NONBREAKABLE SPACE, Unidoce 0xA0) - but (see above) the file should be iso-8859-1 encoded.

My uptodate Chrome displays nonsence (of cause).

11.1-RELEASE is in end-of-life. The problem is solved in 12.X-RELEASE.
