Virtual machine console displays the following message:

HV_VSS: error: 16

Unable to log in to VM via SSH or console, and no network services are operational.

Hyper-V Host is Windows Server 2016 with June 2018 Cumulative Update installed.

Windows Server Backup logs the following:

Workaround is to disable Backup (volume checkpoint) in Integration Services for VM Settings.

I've faced with the issue on FreeBSD 11.2.

The VM hangs while Microsoft SC DPM has been occupied by creating a backup for another VM and has tried backup FreeBSD VM.

Past backups of FreeBSD VM (every week, during year more) has been created successfully.
