In doing research on a crypt issue I had at my day job, I noted that our manpage for sha512, et al, doesn't mention the rounds= parameter, so I was curious if we supported it. It turns out we do.

Can someone with mandoc fu update the man page?

The correct man page to add this information to is crypt(3)

The sha512(3) man page is about the hashing algorithm, not the password hashing system.

It may be worth adding a note to sha256(3) and sha512(3) pointing reads to the correct place if they do end up in the wrong place.

I would be happy to update the man page, once bug #182518 is closed.
If that bug is only open due to this bug, let me know. :)
