Description Kurt Jaeger freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2021-04-21 07:51:00 UTC
ifconfig tap0 creates a tap0 device with a seemingly random MAC. The MAC comes from /etc/hostid -- if somehow the /etc/hostid was cloned during multiple instances, the MAC will be the same, which will cause trouble in VPNs.
