Thank you for the report James. - What was the package version delta between upgrades? - Could you include as an attachment the output of pkg upgrade (from /var/log/messages) - Additionally, if you're able to, a backtrace of running the process under gdb, or of the core dump might provide additional information.

Today's upgrade has solved the problem. knetwalk upgraded: 21.04.3 -> 21.08.1
