Starting both luakit and luakit-devel produces the same error output: [ 0.062239] I [core/luah]: Loading rc: /usr/local/etc/xdg/luakit/rc.lua ** ERROR:common/util.c:67:strip_ansi_escapes: assertion failed (err == NULL): Error while compiling regular expression ‘[\u001b\u009b][[()#;?]*(?:[0-9]{1,4}(?:;[0-9]{0,4})*)?[0-9A-ORZcf-nqry=><]’ at char 3: onbekend teken volgt na \ (g-regex-error-quark, 103) Bail out! It is unknown to me why the terminal output is partly English, partly Dutch.
Initial bug report concerns www/luakit 2.3,1 www/luakit-devel 2.3.26,1
(In reply to meine from comment #1) Is this PR a duplicate of https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=266975 (glib 2.74.0,2)?
I don't know if technically it is a duplicate. The error message after starting luakit from terminal in a GUI is different. Besides others reported that after fixing bug 266975 problems were gone. Not on my box though, and I suspect interference from other packages but couldn't find out. I _presume_ that the newer version of glib causes this, because it is the only change on the software on my box.
Duplicated bug is "overcome by events". If the bug is still relevant please open a new PR.
