This fork seems to be at least a bit more maintained, perhaps consider moving to it? https://github.com/davxy/cloak

The fork looks pretty much the same, no new functionalities and it's also pretty much dead.

It does however update a bunch dependencies which helps in terms of potentially longer support without breakage?
