	If there are too many "already applied" deltas,
        CTM will fail with too many files open.

How-To-Repeat: 
	cd /usr/current/src
        ctm -v ../CTM/src/*

The bug had already been fixed by time of submission (with revision 
1.9 of ctm/ctm.c), but it obviously didn't make it already into the 
950322 SNAP Richard was working with.
