Description Richard Blair 2002-06-06 04:50:03 UTC
When playing mp3s encoded from wavs created with the new dd audio dumping process, a noticeable delay is heard between tracks, especially when they should be segued together.
I am using:
LAME 3.91
xmms-1.2.7

This delay was not present with mp3s created with wavs from other digital audio dumping programs, such as dagrab or cdda2wav.
I have not upgraded xmms or LAME since I started using dd to dump audio tracks

Fix:

Unknown.
How-To-Repeat: 1. Use dd to dump audio tracks from a CD on which there is no delay between tracks.
2. Encode the wavs to mp3 using LAME.
3. Play the mp3s in XMMS.
