are you sure about breaking mtree? shouldn't this go into ${DATADIR} or
${EXAMPLESDIR}?

I have committed version 0.2.6 to the tree. Please remember to send an update 
when you release the next version.  
BTW the program crashes in the aboutdialog, because it can't find the xpm.
