Abstract <https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/#preamble> leads readers to <https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/doc/en/books/handbook/>, where, for example: 

* the FreeBSD Handbook is significantly outdated 
  (revision 0d4371e5cc, 2021-01-18). 

misc/freebsd-doc-en installs a much more recent edition (2021-08-14 at the time of writing). 

Please: 

1. consider including <https://www.freshports.org/misc/freebsd-doc-en/> amongst the links in the abstract of the Handbook

2. update content in the download.freebsd.org area

Looks like these were missed in the migration to Git.  I'll try to find out where they're being generated.  Thanks for the report.

PDF documents are being generated every week on Mondays for now.
